Linden Studio Gallery, 961 Linden Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013

In May of this year I was offered a permanent wall space in Linden Gallery, Carpinteria. Long time friend of mine, Leigh Sparks, has run the gallery for a number of years, and dropping in one day to take a look around, I realized this was within my reach. So I approached Leigh, and we had a conversation about how the gallery worked. Summer was approaching and I could definitely see the benefits of foot traffic on the main drag heading up and down to the beach.

Fast forward 5 months, and here I am, selling paintings, prints and gift cards at one of the best little galleries in town. I’m thrilled to bits. Some of my best days are in that space having conversations with locals and out-of-towners who breeze in and out to see what’s new.

I’m working up my nerve to host some painting classes, or “sip and paint” sessions on the back patio. Stop by and say hello sometime, add you name to our guest book and be first to know when those classes, or maybe an Open House in going to happen.
